About Us

Welcome to MK Irish Walking Football Club, where we offer a fun and inclusive way for people over the age of 50 to enjoy the beautiful game of football. Our club is open to all abilities, and we focus on the social and health benefits of walking football. We provide a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone to come together and enjoy the sport we all love. We are part of MK Irish FC who are contending highly in the Spartan South Midlands Football League Premier Division. We have teams ranging from veterans, under 18's and all youth ages. 
This site will concentrate on the the over 50's Walking Football. The site has only just published and hopefully more content will develop.

What is Walking Football?

Walking football is a slower-paced version of the beautiful game, specifically designed for people who want to play the sport at a more leisurely pace. It's a great way to stay active, socialize, and have fun, without the physical demands of regular football. The rules are adapted to promote walking rather than running, making it accessible to everyone.

Our Sessions

At MK Irish Walking Football Club, we offer regular sessions for both men and women. Our experienced coaches provide a supportive and friendly environment, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the game to the fullest. Join us for a fun and inclusive way to stay active, socialize, and play the sport you love. Currently we train Monday evenings between 7.50--9pm at Leon Leisure Centre, Fern Road, Bletchley, MK2 3HQ. First session free.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
